Updated as of January 2021:
The list of negative keywords to be included in contextual ad campaigns in search advertising services has been updated.
Please note that besides having the negative keywords list correctly set up for your ad campaign, the following criteria have to be met as well:
We’d like to inform you that the list of the negative keywords to be included in your contextual ad campaigns in search advertising services (such as Google Ads or Bing Ads) has been updated. The most notable change is that, on top of the IQ Option brand name keywords, the keyword “iq” has been added to the list. Please make sure to update your ad campaigns until December 10, 2020. An updated list of negative keywords, as well as the step-by-step guide on how to configure the list for a Google Ads campaign, can be found in the Negative Keywords section.
- The ad campaign must promote your own website, not the IQ Option landing pages directly.
- Your website domain name must not include the IQ Option brand name, its derivatives, misspellings, or any other names that can be confused with the IQ Option brand name.
- Your website should contain accurate and useful information for its users (i.e., a broker review or a comparison of brokers) and not copy the content of the IQ Option landing pages.

Further to our notice regarding advertising for brand queries, we’d like to highlight the following rules:
Advertising of IQ Option, OTN and all spelling variations of these brand names is forbidden. Such keywords can only be mentioned in the text of the advertisement itself. See our new list of negative keywords to know which words and phrases to exclude from targeting in your advertising campaigns. Please note that you have to create two lists of negative keywords as there’s a limit of 5000 keywords per list.
Using other brands to promote IQ Option is also prohibited. We have updated the non-exhaustive list of competitors that you cannot mention in your ad campaigns.
