What are IQ Option tournaments?

Free IQ OPTION tournaments for traders

Free weekly tournaments for all traders have been recently implemented on the IQ Option platform. The main prize is a ticket for free participation in one of the larger paid tournaments.

Users are able to experience the thrill of the tournament, and potentially win a significant prize in the tournament from the IQ OPTION

What is the IQ Option tournament?

The tournament is a competition between traders where everyone can participate. Each participant gets a tournament account with the same amount of money. You can only trade binary options in tournaments. Aside from that, there aren’t any rules: you can trade in any asset and invest any available funds.

The winner is the trader who finishes with the most money on the tournament account. The prize pool is usually divided among the best traders from 9 to 30 people.

How does IQBroker tournament work?

Each trader is provided with a special $10,000 tournament account, initial conditions being equal. The leaderboard shows how much money each participant has in the tournament account in descending order.

The tournament prize is credited to your real account in the form of real funds. 80% of your entry fee is transferred to the prize pool. You are allowed to refill your tournament account throughout the entire tournament.

Is it possible to Rebuy?

In some tournaments, you can reload your account balance by depositing the original amount in real money. For example, if a tournament allows rebuys and your starting balance is $100, you can click “Rebuy” next to the balance and you will have $200 on your account.

The number of rebuys during the tournament is unlimited, but only if the current balance and the profit from open positions are less than the starting balance. At the start of the tournament, you can reload once. The rebuy amounts are totalled and added to the tournament prize pool.

How can I check my tournament position?

Before the tournament begins, the top traders are selected at random. Once the tournament has started and participants begin trading, the people in the list will be ordered according to the balance on their tournament accounts.

How can I collect a prize in an IQ Option tournament?

If you are awarded one of the prizes in the tournament, your winnings are automatically credited to your real account.

Why can’t I access my tournament IQOption account?

If you selected a correct tournament account but nothing happens, then the tournament hasn’t started yet. Select tournaments from the left-hand menu to confirm when your tournament will begin.

Before the start of the tournament, the top traders are randomly selected. Once the participants start trading, they will be ordered based on their account balance on their tournament accounts.

What assets can be traded in the IQOptions tournaments?

You can choose any assets available on the Options tab.

Information from the official website about IQOption tournaments:

“Tournaments are a way of taking a small risk financially which could potentially yield a big reward.

During some of our previous tournaments, the total prize fund has exceeded $100,000, with the winner receiving around $10,000.

Normally, this rate of return is not possible by simply trading binary options. In order to win $10,000, you would need to be making trades which cost thousands of dollars a time, which means you are risking that money with every trade you make. Whereas with a binary options trading tournament, the buy in can be as little as $4.

The tournaments last for 1 month, and entry costs vary from $4 up to $20. Unlike some other tournaments, with IQOPTION you can rebuy entry to the competition. This gives you the opportunity to remain in the competition and gives you repeated chances of placing highly in the tournament and winning big!

Initial conditions are equal in the tournament, in order to give everybody a fair start. The more entrants there are, the larger the prize fund available. For your initial entry fee, you will get a special tournament account with $10,000.

You can see how you are placing in the competition by checking our live, online leader board. It also lets you know how the competition are doing, and how much of the prize pool you are eligible to win.

The $10,000 you use to play during the tournament cannot be withdrawn. However, your prize money will be credited to your account in the form of real money which you can then withdraw and enjoy!
